Konyaspor is drawing attention with its emphasis on youth development and continues its efforts for the growth of the Football Academy. The club had started using the fields next to Konya Büyükşehir Stadium for its youth teams to train and play matches. The Murat Kurum Kayacık Facilities were made available to the first team after being completed in Kayacık during the second half of last season. The old facilities were allocated for the use of the Football Academy, focusing on youth training. Konyaspor has established a Football Development Directorate to strengthen its sustainable football structure and make player development processes more systematic. Tayfun Türkmen has been appointed to lead this new structure, and the development processes of players in the academy will be closely monitored. The countdown for the Football Academy trials, held every summer, has begun. The trials will start on June 27 and end on July 5. They will take place on the artificial turf field No. 1 next to Konya Büyükşehir Stadium. Successful athletes will be invited to group training sessions. Konyaspor also does not forget to make a gesture by giving jerseys to all athletes participating in the trials.
