Konyaspor defeated Trabzonspor 1-0 in Süper Lig Matchday 5. Rajmund Tóth scored in the 2nd minute from a Diogo Gonçalves assist to secure the win.
From the opening minutes, Konyaspor pressed high and disrupted Trabzonspor's build-up play. The pressure paid off when Gonçalves played a long ball from midfield that found Tóth in space behind the defence. The Portuguese striker took one touch before firing past André Onana low into the net.
Trabzonspor responded by dominating possession with 71% of the ball but struggled to create clear chances. They managed 15 shots, only four on target, while Konyaspor registered 11 shots with five on target, showing greater efficiency in front of goal.
Deniz Türüç received Konyaspor's first yellow card in first-half stoppage time (45+2'). After the break, Trabzonspor made changes: S. Lopes Cabral replaced Ozan Tufan at 58', and shortly after Aral Şimşir and Mustafa Eskihellaç were both cautioned. André Onana picked up a late yellow card at 83'.
Konyaspor used their bench: J. Dompe came on for Gonçalves at 68', Y. Andzouana replaced Deniz Türüç at 77', and in the 83rd minute both C. Awaziem (for Yazğılı) and Mostafa Mohamed (for Muleka) entered the game.
Both teams finished with three yellow cards each. Konyaspor also made four saves, matching Trabzonspor's effort between the posts.
