Korkmaz summarized this process with these words: "While we were managing such a process, the day came when we experienced an incredibly courteous process with my president Ömer Atiker regarding the handover of the club. It was a very good process. Our president conducted the process with great courtesy."
Korkmaz said they reached an agreement with Ömer Atiker and the board of directors, accepting to receive their payments after 14 months. According to the agreement, the payment date was set for July 30, 2026. Korkmaz emphasized that they never acted against Konyaspor during this process and always did their best for the club.

Korkmaz argued that such relationships are confidential but that he did not breach that confidentiality.
