Midfielder Berkan Kutlu, who spent one season with Konyaspor, said goodbye to the club through a statement on his social media account. According to reports, Kutlu had an option in his contract for the first six months and did not want to stay at Konyaspor.
In his farewell message, Kutlu stated: ‘The 2025-2026 season was a big learning and rebirth process for me. I started with Galatasaray; then, after the break, I joined Konyaspor to face a tough battle. Despite being close to the relegation zone, we brought down the giants of the Super Lig together with my teammates and reached the final in the Turkey Cup. I take pride in the fact that you can say “Berkan Kutlu returned” on your own and be part of this struggle.’ praising his experience at Konyaspor.
Kutlu also added: ‘I am ready to move forward with a new project where I am trusted, have goals, and continue my fight. I would like to thank the Konyaspor staff, employees, coaches, teammates, fans, and everyone who contributed during this process.’
